Xero, connected.

Connected. Invoices, bills, contacts, aged debt

Yes. Market Run connects to Xero and is live today. It reads invoices, bills, contacts, the chart of accounts and the aged debt ledger, and it writes the invoices it raises back to Xero. Xero stays the book of record and the bookkeeper carries on in the software they already use.

What moves, and which way

DirectionWhat
Comes inInvoices and credit notes, so what is owed is known without retyping it
Comes inBills from suppliers, so the buy can be checked against what was charged
Comes inThe contact book, which fills in blanks on a customer record rather than overwriting it
Comes inThe chart of accounts and the trial balance
Comes inAged receivables and aged payables, as dated snapshots rather than a moving total
Goes outThe invoices raised from what the driver actually delivered

What is true today

  • Reading is live and has run against a real wholesaler's ten years of accounts.
  • Every pull is stored as a dated snapshot, never as an overwrite, so a figure can always be traced to the day it was true.
  • Writing invoices back is behind a switch, because a wholesaler decides when his accounts start receiving from somewhere new.

No screen here yet. We show the real screen once the connection is built for you, never a picture of something else.

Plainly

What comes next

  • Payment reconciliation the other way, matching a Xero payment back to a chase, is next rather than done.

Xero, asked plainly

Does Market Run replace Xero?
No. Market Run sits beside Xero rather than replacing it. Xero remains the book of record and the accountant's own system. Market Run reads invoices, bills, contacts, the chart of accounts and aged debt from it, and writes back the invoices it raises from delivered quantities.
Will connecting Xero change my accounts?
Reading changes nothing in Xero. Writing invoices back is behind a switch that the wholesaler turns on when they are ready, so nothing is posted to the accounts until somebody decides it should be.
How long does connecting Xero take?
The Xero connection already exists and is authorised through Xero's own consent screen, so it is a matter of signing in rather than of building anything. The longer part is agreeing which accounts invoices should land against, which is a conversation rather than a development job.

Tell us what you run.

Name the system and you will get a specific estimate rather than a maybe. Most connections are about a day.
