Proof of delivery
Captures a signature and two photos at the door, automatically, before a drop counts as done.
Proof of delivery is the record that a delivery was actually made - who signed, when, where and in what condition - captured at the door rather than claimed afterwards. It takes a signature or a named alternative, a photo of the goods and the delivery note, plus time and position, before the drop counts as done.
"It never arrived" and "it was left in the rain" are two different problems, and a paper note in a driver's cab answers neither of them a week later. The proof exists at the moment of the drop, not as a story pieced together afterwards.
How it works
- 01At the door, the driver takes a signature, or names who else took it - a manager, a neighbour.
- 02Two photos are required: the goods as handed over, and the delivery note with them.
- 03Time, position and the driver's phone attach to the drop automatically. No extra step.
- 04Nobody there? The drop is left as instructed, evidenced by photo and position, and it is not invoiced until that is reviewed.
- 05The kitchen gets the proof as a link in the WhatsApp thread they already use. Not a new place to log in.
What it captures at the door

What it replaces
Proof of delivery replaces a paper delivery note, or nothing at all when a customer says the goods never turned up. The proof exists from the moment of the drop, not as a story reconstructed later.
What it works with
- Driver's phoneThe proof screen opens the moment the driver taps Arrive.
- The driver's phone cameraThe two required photos are taken on the phone, at the door.
- Kitchen linksThe proof reaches the customer as a link on the WhatsApp thread they already use.
- Invoice runnerThe invoice is built from what was proved here, not the original order line.
Plainly
What it will not do on its own
- It does not stop a driver leaving goods somewhere wrong. It records where they actually went.
- A missed photo blocks the drop being marked complete; it does not invoice around the gap.
- It does not settle a dispute on its own. It gives you the evidence to settle one.
What it replaces
A paper delivery note, or nothing at all when a customer says the goods never turned up.
Time it saves
The time spent, days later, trying to remember or prove what actually happened at one door.
Questions people ask
- What is proof of delivery?
- Proof of delivery is the record that a delivery was actually made - who signed, when, where and in what condition - captured at the door rather than claimed afterwards. It is what a wholesaler produces when a customer disputes a drop.
- What if nobody is there to sign?
- The driver records who the goods were left with or where they were left, with a photo and position, and the drop is held for review before it is invoiced.
- Does the customer need an app to see the proof?
- No. The proof arrives as a link in the same WhatsApp thread they already order on, scoped to that delivery and expiring after.
- Does it work without signal?
- Yes. The signature and photos are captured offline and sent once the driver's phone reconnects.
